I know seramas have extreamly bad melts. This lady has bare spots the skin looks irritated. I've treated for more sis she has any. She has some bald spots mostly on her wings and upper head possible from over mating like I said I'm sure just a bad moly but just to double check is she good.

Edited to add- typed the wronge title lol

Not sure if this is a auto correct error or not. Did you mean molt or mites? Not sure what a bad melt or moly is.
One thing that comes to mind is that she may be a frazzle which a result of breeding frizzle to frizzle the double frizzle gene causes a genetic deformity of very weak feathers that break easily. If this is the case she will need to be protected more as to not cause her anymore damage to her feathers.

:lau auto correct, double check or something my friend.
I couldn't make heats or sails of the question.

I ment molts lol. Stupid spell correct. Shes actually starting to grow more feathers. So shes either having a bad molt or shes a frazzle like you said. I've been given her extra vitamins to hopefully give her a boost but shes doing good. She gets cold real easy so I make sure she had a heat lamp.

I really don’t think she is molting. She does look frazzle to me, her feathers look overly curly, very sparse, and she has many main shafts missing the barbs. She will need special care to prevent more feather breakage. Most frazzle are brought in and cared for as house pets as they are unable to regulate their temperature, to prevent feather damage and bullying from other chickens. I have never had a frazzle but came across info when researching frizzle, there is also heart issues associated with frazzles.

Shes actually quite feisty shell peck any hens that get in her way. I live in NC the temps are quite hot here so summer she will be fine but winter she has a heat lamp day and night for shes cold. And her roo that she came with (bought them in a pair) she snuggles with all the time. Her names tiny cause shes also really really small. I figured in the beginning she either had a really bad molt or she was a frazzle and you guys have concluded that she is.

I also have another frizzle thing. I picked him and Turken up free at tsc. So I have no history of owners or breeding. Hes a bantam but hes got slightly feathers legs. I'm starting to think hes a frazzle too cause his feathers arnt growing well. I'll get pics tomorrow
