I wanted to check in to see if my frizzle hen going bald is molting or something else. She is bare around her neck, and a line down her chest and butt are all bare. See pictures. The baldness started last Spring (I thought it was molting or plucking feathers for broody period). It has only gotten worse. There are also some feathers that look stripped bare, just the lines and a little tuft of feather at the end. What is happening to my beautiful frizzle? I see no sign of mites.
