My name is Sheila. I am a respiratory therapist who loves books and movies. My husband and I left city life 2 years ago and moved to a town of 1800 people. Now that we have a little land, we are slowly building our own tiny farm with 4 dogs, 4 cats, 2 goats, and finally some chickens!! Our grandson loves to visit the animals! At this point we have 11 chickens - 3 bard rocks, 2 leghorn, 2 olive Eggers, 2 sapphire skye, and 1 brahma, and 1 Isa brown. We are still growing a brown leghorn rooster, and 4 "tophat" chicks. We are excited for our first fresh eggs but honestly, I could just sit outside and watch the chickens play for hours! I love all of our animals!!
