Hello from Idaho!

I decided it is time for me to join since I have been secretly spying since first getting baby chicks in March! I have often been led to BYC on most questions I have googled and then been sucked in the giant vortex of information on the website. I blame all you who have posted some great articles or threads that may or may not have kept me up most of the night several times a month

I have 10 hens currently. Most of them are all different breeds. I have four that are currently laying (bought as layers), 3 that are at POL (almost 18 weeks and these are the first chicks i have ever had and the ones we started with), and 3 mutts that are about 12 weeks old. It didn't take very long for me to catch on to chicken math

I am looking forward to being a part of such a wonderful community.

Yes, isn't it great that everyone can be a math whiz on BYC? Much easier than high school

My story is the same as yours... lurked around BYC for a year, got chickens then I signed up! My flock also has a variety of breeds, I have 9 hens and 1 rooster... 19 live eggs (so far) in the incubator, and I've already set aside 24 eggs to incubate after this one. LOL!!!
