Hi everyone, been lurking for about a month and decided to join. I am a small backyard farmer from florida with a passion for strawberries. I have been gardening for 10 years, growing proper crops for 2 years and am now moving onto animals. Organic and restorative agriculture is my first and most important goal. Although I'm not allowed to have chickens where I live but quail are fair game! So i've set up a brooder using an old terrarium I got for free off of offerup. I’m building a small aviary in my backyard, (4’ x 8’ x 6’) with plans to expand it further when I get more materials. I’m trying to replicate their natural habitat as best I can and want to see if I can get any to brood.

I’m waiting for taxes to come in so I can get an incubator so for now the brooder is being used to start plants
