Hi all,is there anyone else from the UK.I have four chickens in my garden and two of them refuse to go in the coop at night and sit on the top of the coop.It is fox proof but with the colder weather coming I am worried they will freeze.I have a light that comes on later in the coop and the door automatically closes at 22.00 although I can set it at earlier or leave it open all night.
The coop is large enough to take eight chickens so not sure what else I can do.

You may want to put them into the coop before the door closes until they get use to going in at the right time.

Yeah im in uk im pretty lucky all my 10 go in by themselves soon as starts to get dark as suggested u may want to make thm go in and shut door manually or bribe them for a fewdays with meal worms.... do u have a pic of your set up??

This is my setup,as soon as I go to the coop after dark the chickens scramble to hide under the coop so I can’t put them away.I gave it a good clean out yesterday and sprayed it with mite killer in case that’s the problem.
