Frontline for Lice control????

Questions for those of you who use Frontline for lice and mites. How often do you treat? How do you treat (i.e. Where do you put the drops?)? Is egg withdrawl required? Is it safe to consume meat from chickens treated with Frontline?

I've actually never heard of anyone use it, not saying they don't.

Most use Permethrine dust or spray. I know Frontline for dogs isn't cheap, but the Permethrine is like garden dust and much more reasonable, plus it's used extensively for ridding coops and chickens of mites.
