Hi! A little back story, this hen was injured and was inside for a few months healing. I took her back to the coop and the other chickens were not accepting of her, except for one. So I took both of them out and put them in my garage (also because I was having issues with my coop and weather) anyways…

They are in the garage, out of wind. It stays above 35 degrees and I’m keeping an eye on the humidity. They are out of wind.

I went out tonight to check on them and I noticed my previously injured girl has black spot, and her comb looks dry/crusty??? I thought frostbite but it don’t seem possible for her to have frostbite right now. (My other hen looks completely fine/normal)

Of course I went to google and saw “fungal infection” and a bunch of other infections pop up.

I’m 99.9% positive that this is not frostbite, but has anyone else had this issue? Is it an infection? If so how can I treat it?

Thank you!!!
