The weather is cold, and I've noticed that my chickens' combs are yellow and skinny at the top. It kind of looks like it's rotting but I think it is frostbite. What can I do? I put Vasoline on them when I can but that's not often. What can I do?

If you think frostbite remove from the cold immediately. Vaseline wont help you if they already have it and rubbing their combs will cause it to blister and get infected. Use vetricyn. Do you have pics?

Get them somewhere warm. Put heating lamp or keep in a dog crate or similar inside

Can you post some photos?
