Welcome to BYC. What is your general location? I would try separating him inside a dog crate with food and water near the others, but so they cannot peck him. Pictures might be helpful. Does he have a lot of swelling?

I am in SD south of Rapid City.
We had a period of going negative in Dec. and Jan. Happening again this week.
Much has already turned black. Doesn't seem to be swollen. It was seepy and bleeding. Now it is turning yellowish and black around the edges but drying out at least. He is doing alot of head shaking. Poor dude.

My fault. Wasn't using a closed water system but getting that addressed. He cant afgord to get his entire wattles in the water.
