As I was out feeding the chickens, I noticed something off with one of my roosters. The tips of his comb were the slightest bit purple. I don't believe that it was like that yesterday. I tried to get a closer look, but he is not friendly and wouldn't let me near. I'm wondering if it's frostbite. For the past two weeks, the temps has been fairly warm reaching up to mid-70s; however, last night, it drastically dropped. The low was 32 degrees F and the high today was 47 degrees F. Could the sudden cold have caused problems? If it is frostbite, is there a way to fix it?

I've added a photo, but I'm not sure how much it will help.

it looks like it is the beggining stages of frostbite, but i wouldn't worry about it unless you are going to have many more frigid days
It's only supposed to last for 2 more days, and even then the temperatures going to gradually get warmer.
