Frostbite

My poor Rooster got frostbite. It’s been extremely cold where I’m at and I’ve been trying my best to avoid this. I’m not sure if it’s infected or not. It’s mainly white with a hint of yellow and it’s swollen. No puss. What can I do? I’ve been seeing to leave it alone and let it go through its process, but if it’s infected do I put an ointment on it? If so what kind? Thank you for any advice.

Just leave it alone....it doesn't look too bad.
If it appears to be infected, post new pics before doing anything.
