Frostbite?

How do you tell if your chicken has frostbite? Is there any other way to prevent it other than vasaline? (spell?)

Well,I think if a body part is totally blackened, and or purple you've got frostbite. If you think it is frostbite, post a picture.

Is this frostbite? Swollen / Fluid Filled Wattles with black on them? ( I put ointment on them )
