Frostbite

One of my chickens has gotten a little frostbite on his comb. Once damaged will it ever be back to normal? Anything I can do for it?

If it has turned black, those areas that turned black will eventually drop off,it is dead tissue.If there's any bleeding,put neosporin on it to prevent infection.I recommend putting vaseline on their combs and wattles. The first 2 weeks in January we had hard freezes every night (a record for us) and every evening during those 2 weeks I was putting vaseline on all their combs and wattles. I'm so glad I did too!
