busted my chicken dustpan on frozen poop this year

now i use a metal drywal tool, it works like a charm (fairly heavy duty one!)

Garden trowel pops the poop right off my boards. And a little dusting of DE periodically applied to the boards helps. BTW, I did purchase a flour sifter at Wal-Mart for $6.00. It is great! So easy to apply a very, very, thin layer anywhere I want and minimize any DE dust in the air. Highly recommend it to DE users.
