Hello Everyone!

Hope everyone has a great new year!!

I have a question! My females are FINALLY laying eggs! Woo hoo!! Found the first one New Years Day!! However, it’s freezing outside and I was curious if the eggs are still okay? I’m new to the whole ducks and egg collecting duties. So anyone have any advice or tips or answers to frozen duck eggs or collecting eggs in the winter?

Thanks ☺️

Uggg, frozen eggs! My 7 chickens have just started to lay, I am so excited! Today it is -4 degrees out and I found one egg this morning, another 3 eggs just now, the most ever so far in one day! Unfortunately all but one have had a small split in the shell, they are frozen! I thought I would be able to check frequently enough but I guess not when it's this cold out :hit
Time for a coop cam!
