I'm gonna leave a link to my heated waterer. If your tired of walking water to your coop every few hours and want an easy way to keep your water liquid, clean and not refill for a number of days (depending on how many chickens) make a horizontal nipple waterer with a stock tank deicer. I don't get as cold as up north (where I used to live) but my son uses the same set up in SE PA. I know there are others on here that use horizontal nipples and stock tank deicers in cold climates.
