I hope this photo is ok. I am a first time hatcher, I had 2 die 1the egg yolk membrane was around its neck.
This one I could use some input , speculation to help me with my next time hatching. I did have fluctuations in the humidity some too low some time to high. Being in florida we were hot and cold those first 2 weeks.
I also had 2 early embryos at day 10 dead .

As someone who incubates often, it's a bummer every time when there are late quitters. 😕

You've already mentioned a couple of possible contributing factors: temperature and humidity fluctuations. How dramatic and lengthy were they?

ETA: accidentally saved this response before I finished...does this chick have a bit of a crossbeak? If so, there may be genetic issues, as well. Given the size of the unabsorbed yolk, it looks like it was a couple of days from hatch when it died, so I presume it hadn't internally pipped, either.

This site has additional info on troubleshooting incubation problems that you may find helpful. Kudos for doing eggtopsies to try to improve your incubation processes...and wishing you better luck with your next hatch!
