Full Sized Silkies?

I had a bantam Silkie.
Do they also come in full size?

So far, only in the UK. In the US, Silkies are considered True Bantams, no Large Fowl counterpart.

Can I get them in the US somehow?

You know, my Bantam Ameraucana and Australorp bred and left me one full sized Ameraucana. Maybe I could do the same thing with the silkies with a compatable breed to produce my own full sized silkies? What about full sized frizzles in the US?

I heard from a breeder on here that they were working on this and is two years into it but I cant remeber who it was!

Back in the 1980's my uncle had full sized crested Silkies in California.
They weren't uncommon. I'm not sure where he got them or if there are any left in my hometown but I sure would like some now.
