Going on 2+weeks with my first flock, 8 girls mixed breeds, and am very happy with them. I had planned on getting pullets, but ended up with 8 mixed playing breeds that came originally from Blue Star Ranch. In the 2 weeks I have had he girls I have gotten 5-7 eggs every day. I try to give them treats, grapes, daily and now they they follow me around the yard (city yard). The friend I brought them from helped me a lot, but I know he misses the girls (HOA issues). The girls now are glad to see me come out with treats, and I am no longer the scary monster I used to be. Even though I am in the city I am very supprised on how much fun they are and I look forward to seeing them every day now.
