We have this 10wk old bym cockerel who in the last few days has become very wobbly. We checked him for any bug activity, searched for an injury, etc. but all we have found is this very crooked toe. He seems to lose his balance on that side when walking and it sometimes causes him to “sit” to catch his balance and continue on.

Just wondering if anyone with more experience has seen anything like this before and maybe has a fix.

That toe looks like it may be broken. Create a splint out of material such as icy - pole sticks cut to size and wrap breathable tape around it. There are lots of information online about it as well. It may be too late to fix properly, so get onto it as soon as possible. I'm sure others more knowledgeable in this area will come on and help you out a bit more.

We will splint and I will research a bit more, thank you!
