Funny chicken stories

Whats the funniest thing you chickens have ever done? Chickens are very entertaining so I should get a lot of responses!

You are right- chickens can be goofballs. Mine have done so many funny things. I'll tell you the most recent.
I built a little roof over the chickens outdoor feeder. It's about 2 feet square. We have been getting so much rain lately, all 10 chickes would be gathered around the feeder with their heads under the roof, and their tail ends hanging out.
Hubby built a little shelter right next to the feeder- big enough they can all hang out under it when it rains without being squished together.
So it starts raining, and one chicken stands under the new shelter. The other 9 squished under the feeder roof.

this is going to be good!
1) When my girls moved outside, at night all 6 would go into a square foot nest box and more recently (fully grown) I found 4 squished into the same space.

2) At night appearently four ft. off he ground isn't high enough so usually I get 1-5 chickens on the roof at night!

3) A couple weeks ago they were out and when it got dark, the BO Sugar was atracted to the light of the house and while we ate dinner I noticed her watching us through the back window.I had to rescue her and bring her back to the others.




I could go on forever!
