Funny pecking order.

My banty rooster is the highest on the pecking order, yet he is the smallest bird in the coop. HAHA! Isnt that funny?

That is funny!!! Our only roo, a bantam frizzle cochin, is the lowest on the pecking order...the girls all kick his butt when he tries to come close to them.

I think its funny. Definently. He has a high pitched crow and everything.. It is hilarious.

Haha, that is hilarious. My silkie roo was the ruler of girls twice his size too... took him a while to figure out head from tails...

My little Jap roo is the tiniest one in the coop/run too, but he's the boss! He doesn't let the other lil' roos forget it either. They're banties, but almost twice his size. And the girls are WAY bigger than all of them.

The poor partridge rock bantam boys ... even the girls knock them around. I feel kinda sorry for them.

Yesterday I heard a horrible squealing, and I looked over and the Jap roo had one of the rocks by the head and was dragging him backwards.

And ... his little crow is kinda squeaky too. It sounded perfect from inside the house the first times I heard it, but from up close, you can hear the squeak in his voice.

He's a little character ... my favorite chicken!

Oh, and all my boys know the head from the tails of the girls but ... I think they're too small to really do much about it. And I don't let them anyway when I'm around. (I don't want any mean roos ... even TINY ones!)
