So a few years ago I was showing off my rooster to some people that I knew, and they wanted to see the rooster run back to the chicken house. (My chickens are free range) So I tossed my roster down on the ground and he ran down toward his hens. Then all of the sudden he stopped. We wondered why he stopped, but then out of no where a hawk swoops down and the rooster lays down on the ground as low as is could go, and the hawk missed him by an 1/8 of an inch.
