Hello everyone! So lot of funny things seem to happen with my ducks and I would love to hear some funny stories about things that happened to you and your birds! I’ll go first. So a few days ago, I was walking the ducks out to their run like usual. But the night before I had to put them away earlier than usual because I had to leave and wouldn’t be back before dark. That meant that the ducks were very excited to get a cool drink of water in the morning. When we got to the run, all of the ducks started drinking from the water. I was in the process of lifting them over the fence, when for some reason all of the ducks drinking from one bucket got too stressful for my big black Swedish Drake so he decided to leap into the air and somehow land perfectly in a small yellow bucket that I was using to water my runner drake. I was currently holding pancake about to lift her over the fence. I stood there for a moment, shocked to see my duck, somehow stuck inside a small yellow bucket rasping very loudly. He looked at me and started rasping even louder like ‘Why aren’t you helping me HUMAN?!’ I looked at him and said ‘well you got yourself into this situation how are you gonna get yourself out?’(I talk to my ducks like a weirdo. Hopefully I’m not the only one.
). He decided that the best way to get himself out of this bucket was to stick his head down into it! I immediately panicked thinking he was going to drowned and grabbed him out of the bucket as quick as I could. He then flapped his wings hit me in the face and splashed me with all the dirty duck water.
