Fussy girls

The danger voice got me!!
Our girls do that sometimes for no apparent reason! I’ll be standing right there with them, and they just kinda scream for a few seconds, and then they’re good again!
I cannot figure out which one it is. The mocking birds have now started doing it. Slighly amusing now..but terrifying at first. I got my cardio in running out to see what was going on.

Hahaha, I can only imagine it was up there with the first time I heard a screech owl! You wanna talk about turning on the after burners, I was outta there!! :hmm:eek:

I broke the fock up and sent 6 of my girls to my Brother in Laws house. I'm both happy and slightly annoyed that they seemed to love their new home more. Their coop is under an orange tree, plenty of things to explore and bugs to eat. They're going to be so spoiled there.

Jdlovesthis if it makes you feel any better, I bought my chickens a pet shade tent so they could have a safe place. The entire run is covered, not even mortar fireworks bother these girls...but yanno..just in case.

Going through this for the first time with 3 day old Serama chicks. I bought them a see saw but they haven’t discovered it yet. I’m still wondering when I became the kind of person who buys a chicken see saw? 😂
I was in a charity shop the other day and they had a box full of plastic kids toys that were 50p each (68c in USD). My youngest chicks now have a boat

Three week olds here are doing the bedtime screaming thing too. Can't wait to get them outside overnight but it'll be a couple more weeks because I want to put them and the babies all out together.

I made another impulse buy that bit me in the butt. A dangling parrot toy with a bell at the end. I installed it yesterday and the girls seemed very interested, as with anything new, but within 24 hours the run turned into Jurassic Park. It seems the toy has brought out the aggression. Jumping, kicking, etc.

Today has been nonstop squabbling. I drew the line when one flew at my face as I was giving them fresh water. The toy is now removed and we'll see if they calm down.

Anyone else ever have this happen?

My Seramas chirp LOUDLY if there is Literally anything that is not up to their standards!! The night light is not turned on, they can’t see me, they break their see saw and I have to repair it, all of that causes major fusses!!!!
