Fuzzier in winter?

Is it my imagination or are my chicks hatching fuzzier right now than a couple months ago? All the same barnyard mix. Is it due to winter? Do the chicks developing sense the time of year? My guess is that it is my imagination.

Probably just your imagination

I could see if they were getting fluffier as time went on because of the weather, but other than that, I'm not sure.
