In the past I've raised many chickens. However this is my first time with a golden laced Wyandotte.
My chick is almost 3 weeks old and companioned with an Easter egger, olive egger, and barred rock of the same age.

My Wyandotte chick seems smaller in comparison and even her feathers are coming in at a slower rate. While the other 3 chicks have full wing feathers in and tail tufts sprouted... the Wyandotte chick ... does not have full wing feathers in nor tail tufts or feathers. Still has a little round pompom bum.

Is this typical growth rate for Wyandottes?
I had expected her to grow at the same rate as the others... being a larger fowl and egg layer.

Any experience and knowledge is much appreciated.

That is not typical of Wyandottes-- they are generally fast developers. But growth rate varies by individual. If the bird is otherwise healthy, I would just let it be. It will grow as nature dictates. If it is unwell, then I suggest a post and pictures on the 'medical emergencies' forum.

Extra protein in the form of small snacks of meal worms might also help your Wyandotte along in growth.

She seems healthy and holding her own. She is a typical redhead... independent and self sufficient, takes no nonsense from the others. Lol
I give them all scrambled eggs in the mornings.

I hate to post in medical emergencies if she seems other wise healthy.

Thank you for your insight. I really appreciate it. I'll continue to watch little Winifred and see wot takes place.

To be honest...she was rather small when she arrived and I'd speculated there was a mistake and they sent me a bantam of some sort.

Time will tell...eh?

Yes, time will tell. If she's otherwise healthy then there is no cause for concern at this point.
