Gabby preferring to sleep alone

Gabby has taken to different behavior lately. Nothing bad. I think she might be getting to the age of laying her first egg
She is is about 6 months now

I noticed when i went into the coop the other night to close up the coop she was inside one of my chickens nesting box which is a large plastic bin with the lid on and a hole cut in the front She came put when I went in there wondering where she was

The ducks sleep on a large toy box i put on its side. No lid it takes up almost the whole witdh of the coop there is less than a foot between the end of it and the wall. That is where i found her tonight when I went to close up the coop. She was all cozy there

She has always slept with the other 3. Now she prefers to sleep tucked away.

She still uses the pool not as often she is usually hanging with the chickens or off by herself. She still socializes with other ducks.flirts and mates with Zeke

You Think this is because she is getting ready to lay ?
She is usually my loud quacker too always making noise when she sees me or when shes happy
I don't think I've heard her as much the last couple days she still runs to me though

That’s interesting, one of my khaki Campbell ducks is often alone or with the pekins and I’m getting one egg each day . I wonder if she’s the one laying ?..... these interesting birds they keep us guessing. She was also real friendly with me tonight ....hhhmmm??
