Galvanized Garbage Can Question

Does a typical 20 gallon galvanized can hold a 50 pound bag of pellets or do I need to get a 30 gallon one?

I use these 18 gallon stackable bins and they hold about 80 + pounds of feed so I'd say yes.

I know people say to use metal for rodent protection but I haven't had any trouble. It gets extremely hot and humid here and metal will sweat, molding the feed.
