Gambel quail and probiotics

We have lost 4 of 10 Gambel quail. Can someone tell us about the prociotics and how to use them. It is my son's project, and we are new to quail. He hatched them in an incubator he made. THey are one week old.

What's the protein percent in the feed you give them?

She is feeding them correctly we have already verified that.

Just go to the store and get a probiotic supplement capsule for people. Break it open in the water. If you put too much they may not drink it. There isn't much to it.
