Game bantam lay for a week then stop and lay again in a month. This is continuous.

Ok, so my lemon blue OEG bantam hen lays eggs for about a week then stops. Then she doesn't lay again until another month or longer! Its like she does some kind of broody thing, but she doesn't go broody. Does anybody know what is going on here?
