Game hens vary broody

I have some game hens and laying hens as well but the laying hens have never been broody but for some reason my game hens are vary broody does anyone know why they are so broody and they laying hens aren't? I love game breeds because they are vary beautiful chickens and I like how they are protective of their chicks.

All chickens CAN go broody its just that some have gone broody more then others. It isn't odd that your Game hen has gone broody and not laying (depending what type of breed). I think they are good mothers but not positive. Good luck!
