Alright, I have come to a solution regarding my chick/cat situation lol! I was originally going to get day old chicks from the feed store, but I realized today I should get 2-4 month old pullets. I've weighed out the pro's and con's and this is what I have come up with.

Pullet Pro's

They are already coop ready
They will be similar age/size to my current 11 week olds
Won't have to juggle brooding and my young cat (who is trouble with chicks)
Easier to integrate (I hope!)
Won't have to have TWO different feeds going (grower and starter) they can all be on grower
Won't have to buy another heat lamp, or USE another heat lamp!

Pullet Con's

Won't be able to imprint as day olds, or be able to care for them as I like from 0-2 months
Won't have the fun chicky fuzzy butt time
Won't see as many 'firsts'

Seems pretty black and white to me! Has anybody had experience buying older girls around 2-4 months old? I am looking at many breeds (can only pick 2) and will just choose when I go to this person's house.

Edited To Add: A lady just called me off Craigslist! She has 2 1/2 month old Blue Laced Wyandottes and a color Blue Red Laced Wyandottes? Or Black Red? I am not sure but off to the breeds section to read more! I am so excited!
