Can I use the Gamebird and Showbird Feed Starter to beef up my two hens? They are 11 months old BR and have not been eating well as I didn't realize it but their food was stale and they didn't want to eat it. My one hen as been through a mini molt and looks particularly skinny.

My one hen is laying the other is not.

I believe the food is not medicated and it contains 24% protein.

It comes in a 5 LB bag.

If it's OK to feed them this should I mix it with the layer crumbles and how long should I feed for?

Yes, its fine to feed to them. After a month or so..or whenever they gain back some weight and are looking better, you can cut it with a fresh bag of layer crumbles and then eventually move back over to layer.

You were smart to catch that it was stale. So many chicken have problems from stale/molded feed.

I feed gamebird 22% and it works fine--especially good for molting hens and growing chicks. I do keep oyster shell out free choice though since the gambird doesn't have enough calcium for laying hens.
