gamefowl spurs

i have 2 american gamefowl that i twisted the spur off these they are bleeding like stuck hogs anyhow we rapped them up got the bleeding to stopsum how long untile they were harden and how long should i wate to put them on the tie out cords?

how long until the new spurs will harden their dirty n soft i dont want to wipe the scabs off and make em start to bleed any suggestions?
