May seem like a dumb question but I am new to Peafowl. I have had chickens and ducks for about 5 years. Is there a way to keep earthworms in check in Peafowl pens. We are over run with earth worms and I am afraid that is why our Peafowl keeps getting Gap worm, but repeatedly worming the birds doesn’t seem like it would be a good choice. Would rather keep worms out of pens if at all possible.

Before we put our chicks out into the pens at ten to twelve weeks, we will sprinkle ag lime on the ground and water in. It is supposed to kill cocci and blackhead protozoa, I have no idea if it will kill earthworms but I don't think so.
