New here and need some help. I am treating one of my chickens for gape worm.

Can I use Tylan in conjunction with Ivomec® (Ivermectin) Pour-On for Cattle, 250 mL.

I am planning on treating the rest of my flock with the Ivomec. I never had to deal with this. ANY and ALL help is appreciated.

Thank You

Have you had confirmation that you're dealing with gapeworm? Symptoms? Gapes are rare in chickens, this is why I ask.
Tylan wont do anything for gapes, it is used mainly for respiratory diseases.

What should I use? She is gasping for air with her neck stretched out. I read on here Tyvan works for gape worm.

Thank you....Everything I have read points to gape worm. I have a call in to the feed store, one of the guys has been raising chickens for years and has over 300 now. He starts at 11am. I'm hoping he can help.

The chicken farmer just called and told me it is more than likely Croup. It has been really hot, wet and humid here. He told me mix apple cider vinegar with water and give that to them once a month. He also told me to get rid of the straw and use saw dust this time of year. He said it is likely the other chickens will get it to. So I am starting them on the apple cider vinegar and water ASAP. Thanks for your replies dawg53!!!!
