Cecal worms are more likely.

Can you get clear pictures of them?

Safe-Guard sold in a liquid at farm stores for goats will work.
So will Safe-Guard sold in a paste for horses.

The dose for both of these is .23 ml per each pound the bird weighs.

Pink slimy worms?
Can you get some photos of them please?

You likely won't see Gapeworms in poop.

Not sure what's pink though. Cecal worms are white and very small. Roundworms and Tapeworms are also white.

For treating most worms that poultry have except for Tapeworm. Use Safeguard (Fenbendazole). Dose is 0.23ml per pound of weight given orally once a day for 5 days in a row.

You can find Safeguard liquid goat dewormer at TSC.

You have a newbie, so keep him quarantined away from your flock for several weeks until you can access his health.

Thank you soooo much. getting product today... hope it works for those slimy skinny pink worms I saw. He is quarantined (not happy about it) but we just got this 4 month old Rhode Island rooster a few days ago and he is handsome and acting pretty normal - havent see anything in poop for 24 hrs but if i see the worms again i will snap a pic. hope we can introduce him to rest of chicks soon - the hens are very curious about him. Will let yiu know how it goes😊
