I have a pullet who I had posted about with gapeworm. She seems to be doing much better since I dewormed her with ivermectin three or four days ago, but shes walking around like a penguin and very thin. She's stopped yawning almost all together but now she's began to shake her head. Poop is normal, and she seems to be alot more active then she was. How can I start putting weight on her? Is the head shaking normal, like is she just trying to get the remainder of the worms out or are they coming back? Should I deworm her with something else soon? Also, will she ever walk like a chicken again? This is how she looks now:
On a side note, I'm sorry if I'm asking stupid questions, for awhile, when I was trying to figure out what was going on with her, she was so thin, cold, and lathargic, you had to check for signs of life on her when ever you walked over to her. She's litterly come back from the dead, I'd hate to see her die now, she's a fighter.
