My rooster has gapeworm and I also think one of my hens has it. I need to know something that I could get probably at a tractor supply that I can give them and also something that I can give all my chickens to provent them from getting it. Also i need to know how much to give them and for how long. Please Help!!!
Gapeworm is unusual in chickens. It is diagnosed by swabbing the throat with a Qtip; if they are present, you will see them on the Qtip; they are reddish and very skinny. Below is a link on gapeworm. Dawg53 knows worms and he says Covey Rose Plantation knows gapeworm.
you can get levamisole for gapeworms on ebay right now unopened package for about 32.00. if its gapeworm this should help. i saw it online for 119.00 . check out ebay now product is not expired and in tact. Hope this helps you out!
