Hello,

I want to tell you all about a garden experiment I am doing. I did this experiment before, but I'm doing it again because the last time I did it, it was Not controlled very well.

The experiment involves a plant called stinging nettle. According to an article from one of my Austrian ancestors in 1899, he used stinging nettle tea to fertilize vegetables in a 1 to 10 ratio of nettle tea to water.

I am growing radishes in containers to test this nettle tea technique.

If you are interested and/or want to know more, feel free to post! I will update as I go along in the experiment, which is already in progress.

Huh. This is interesting.

The control groups growth has been declining almost exponentially. Perhaps because there is no more nutrients in the soil? I dont know.

On the other hand, in the variable group, They are growing on a fixed slope. I dont know if that will change or not in the future. I have 21 days until harvest time for the radishes.

Interesting data so far.

Jared

How long did you let your nettle tea age before application? The smell of it is very strong. It does need a good amount of time to brew before application.
