Gardening with Guineas book- would you recommend?

You know I think it would be cool if Backyard Chickens published an official BYC chicken book, using info that all of us have posted over the years...

I ordered the book before I got my guineas and I found the information helpful. You can find a lot of the same info on here, but it was nice to have it in one place. The author writes about her very specific situation and set-up, which might not be possible for everyone.

As a book in general, I feel it could have been better edited. It seemed to ramble a bit and the info could have been arranged more logically. The layout, font, and general formatting could really benefit from an update.

Overall, I am happy it exists and I was able to purchase it.

I should add I am new to raising guineas, and fowl in general.

Storey's Guide to Raising Poultry by Glenn Drowns has a section on Coturnix Quail

I like this book as it covers all the major poultry species.

I love this book! I have it right next to be at the moment, and plan on rereading it.

I have the book and read it cover to cover before getting my guineas. I think it was very helpful and I have referred back to it a few times with questions.
