We have raised chickens for several years, but have never tried to incubate any. We would like to try some this year. We have 2 types of chickens and only want to hatch one type, The question I have is: do we incubate the eggs each day until we have what we have or can we store them until we have enough eggs. (someone told us we could do this, but I don't think we can). Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks

Its not ideal to keep opening and closing the incubator to load eggs. They will also hatch at different times, so will need to not be turned and higher humidity.

It CAN be done, but the best thing to do is collect all the eggs you want to hatch for 7 days or less and load the incubator. Hold the eggs at between 50 - 60 degrees and rotate 45 degree angles.

After 7 days hatchability decreases by about 1% per day.
