Gatineau, waiting forever for license

I applied 2 months ago for my license to keep hens. The city was supposed to give me an answer within 45 days. At 49 days I have since called and emailed. No reply. Will someone on here at least tell me of their experience? No one replied to my last post.

I believe a lot of people on here don’t have to get a license. We do not.
I would go in person to whatever agency is supposed to issue it.

What state/location are you in?

on BYC, go to forum “Social” > “where am I, where are you?”. At the top there is a pinned post where you can find your state or country. Others nearer to you, and dealing with thesame issue may reply and offer assistance.

Thank you for the replies. I am in Quebec, Canada. I called them again and spoke to someone else who was able to get in touch with the person in charge of the program. Unfortunately we have to pay $30 each year to keep 5 hens but that's better than our neighboring city, Ottawa, where no chickens at all are allowed.
