Gave my chicks a plush and a dollhouse sofa.. i think they like them 🥰

(pls let me know if this is something I shouldn't do, I've got no experience raising chicks so these past 2 weeks(almost 3 tmr!) Have been a lot of learning for me)

Although I've never done it, I am aware that some folks put plushies in with their chicks, usually when it's just a single chick that needs some reassurance.

I suspect, however, that both the toy and the sofa will soon be "decorated" by chick poop.

BTW, I've raised many chicks, and I am always still a bit nervous about keeping them alive and well. They are so tiny, so sweet and so dependent. Enjoy your babies; they grow up fast!

Very cute, your babies are adorable!! ❤️ I have added plushies to my chicken and quail brooders, it isn't harmful to them and some chicks really enjoy snuggling with them. The plushies do get cruddy after a while but they can be washed.
