Well, sort of anyway. They were too noisy for town and my uncle wanted some out at his place. So, the deal is, since we are moving out to our place after the first of the year, if they start laying, he will give me some of the eggs to incubate.(I made the same deal with his neighbor about some chickens I gave him).
They were white chinese and one toulouse.
I miss them.Sigh.

It's hard to give up animals you want, but it sounds like it worked out for the best. Hope your new place has lots of room so that you can have all the noisemakers you want.

It is for the best, I have to think with my head and not my heart in this instance!
At least I know I will probably have more to incubate in the spring.
