Hi all, my husband and I live in Tasmania Australia and have funnily bought our dream home-sitting on 34 acres, first thing we did was build my chicken coop!!! I've currently got 1x isa brown, 4x australorp x Sussex, I loooove the frizzle breed though and I'm hopefully picking up a frizzle rooster this week!! I'm curious as to the chicks he will breed? Will they be good layers or just look awesome or both? How does the whole breeding thing work?

It depends a lot on what breed your rooster is - frizzle is a feather pattern found in many breeds.

Howdy and welcome. My limited knowledge of the frizzled headed breeds ive learnt from others. I don't think they are the most prolific of layers. But the are cute.

HEY! where in tasmania do you live? I live about 45 minutes from hobart! I have a little pen out the back and some quails too!
