GEESE BREED

Can anyone tell me what breed of geese these are? Also, are they a male and female? They're about 5 to 6 months old. Thanks! Barbara

@Hips24 I believe they are Pomeranians or a mix of them and another breed.

Thank you for the information. I checked out the Pomeranian, and also the West of England and Twente Landrace breeds. The guy we got them from was from Finland, so I'm not sure where they came from! The goose is very talkative, and the other one, which I think might be a male, is more quiet. No matter what breed they are, I've fallen in love with them! I always heard that geese are mean, but these guys are so sweet, talkative and funny! Maybe because we got them young, I'm not sure! They hang out all day on our pond with my "baby" Cayuga ducks, which are bigger than any of the other ducks we own! And then like clockwork, they all come marching home around 7pm to be put away in their pen for the night!

They are gorgeous geese. That is awesome yours come home every evening to be put in secure housing.. Not always that easy for some folks.

Mine love their houses too and always go in at night.
