Geese Questions

I have a threesome of grey geese and he is breeding both hens. I just adopted a chinese hen. Will they eventually accept her into the flock? Do I need to get her a male of her own?
I am not breeding, just collecting eggs for the table.

I would say that they will let her into the group in time. I wouldn't get another male because you don't have enough females and they will fight.

I agree, in time they will accept her. There might be some , finding the correct pecking order, but just let them figure it out and they will be fine.

I adopted a chinese hen too... then it turned into a giant, aggressive man-goose... you sure it's a girl? sometimes people say it's a girl to make it more attractive to a new owner....

Geese normally pair up, so even if it is a gander there won't be much problem with fighting. Though the original male might get a bit grouchy with sharing his girls! But they should accept the new one, it just will take time.
